Terms of Service
Last updated 26 October 2026
Draft for legal review. This text has not yet been checked by a lawyer and may change before launch.
These terms are an agreement between you and Katzero MENA FZ-LLC (“Katzero”, “we”, “us”), the operator of katzero.com. They apply whenever you use Katzero, including the website, the apps and any site we host for you. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms, to our Acceptable Use Policy and to the way we handle data as described in our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Katzero.
1. What Katzero is
Katzero is an AI website designer. You describe the site you want, AI models design and build it, and you can refine it in conversation, keep versions, preview it and publish it at an address such as yourname.katzero.com.
We improve Katzero all the time. Features, available models, limits and the look of the product can change. We will try to give notice of changes that significantly reduce what you can do, but we can’t promise that every feature will stay available forever.
2. Your account
- You need an account to create and publish sites. Give us accurate details and keep your email address up to date.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Katzero. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Tell us straight away at support@katzero.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
- One person, one account. Don’t share accounts or create extra ones to get around limits.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no phishing, impersonation, malware, scams, illegal content, harassment or spam, and no attempts to break or overload the service. The policy is part of these terms.
4. Your content
“Your content” means everything you put into Katzero, such as prompts, chat messages, uploaded images, your profile picture and any text you write, together with the sites, files and versions generated for you.
- You own your content. We don’t claim ownership of your prompts, uploads or generated sites.
- You give us a licence to run the service. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to operate, secure and improve Katzero for you. This includes sending it to AI model providers to generate responses, rendering previews and serving published sites to their visitors. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal reasons or that remain in backups for a limited time.
- You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the rights to what you upload and publish, and that it doesn’t break the law or anyone else’s rights.
5. Generated sites
As between you and us, the sites Katzero builds for you are yours to use, change, download and publish, including for commercial purposes. We host them on your behalf. Some elements, such as stock photos, fonts or icon sets that appear in a generated site, may be supplied under their own licences, and those licences continue to apply.
You can download your whole site as a ZIP file at any time and host it with any provider you choose. There is no lock-in.
Because AI models learn from patterns, other users may receive output that looks similar to yours. We can’t give you exclusive rights in generated designs, and you should not assume generated output is free of third-party rights.
6. AI output
Katzero uses AI models to write text, code and designs. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, offensive or similar to existing work. It is not professional advice. Before you publish, check every claim, price, name, contact detail, image and legal notice on your site. You are responsible for what you publish.
7. Publishing on katzero.com
- When you publish, your site becomes public at a subdomain of katzero.com. Anyone can visit it, and search engines may index it. Preview links are unlisted but can be opened by anyone who has the link.
- Subdomains are provided to you for as long as you have an account and follow these terms. You don’t own the subdomain. Some names are reserved, and we may refuse or reclaim names that impersonate others, mislead visitors or infringe someone’s rights.
- If you connect a domain you own, it stays yours. We only point it at your site, and you can disconnect it at any time. You remain responsible for the domain’s registration, renewal and DNS settings with your registrar.
- We may unpublish, restrict or remove any site, without notice where the risk of harm justifies it, if we believe it breaks these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law, or if we receive a valid legal complaint. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
- Anyone can report a site that breaks the rules using our report form.
8. A free service, with limits
Katzero is currently free. To keep it running for everyone, we apply limits, for example on the number of projects, daily generations, published sites and upload sizes. The current limits are shown on the pricing page and in the app. We may change limits at any time. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.
9. Our service and brand
Katzero, its software, design, logos and content (other than your content) belong to us or our licensors. These terms don’t give you any right to use the Katzero name or logo, except to say truthfully that your site was made with Katzero. Don’t copy, reverse engineer or resell the service, or access it by automated means outside the features we provide.
10. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
11. Ending your use of Katzero
- You can stop using Katzero at any time. You can delete your account from Settings, which also takes your published sites offline.
- We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if we must do so by law, or if your use puts other people or the service at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your work.
- We may stop offering Katzero altogether. If we do, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email so you can export your sites.
- Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability, will continue.
12. Disclaimers
Katzero is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that the service will be uninterrupted, error free or secure, that generated output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose, or that your content will never be lost. Please keep your own copies of anything important. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from your use of Katzero. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to Katzero is limited to 100 US dollars.
These limits don’t apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
14. Indemnity
If you use Katzero for business purposes, you agree to cover our reasonable costs arising from claims by third parties that your content or your use of the service broke the law or their rights.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law or needed urgently for safety. If you keep using Katzero after the change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Abu Dhabi, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
17. General
These terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about Katzero. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we haven’t given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation or sale of the service, and will tell you if we do.
